Lucky Star and Zombie Loan

I just finished watching Lucky Star and Zombie Loan and updated my "Anime Watched List".

For those of you who haven't seen the anime, Lucky Star, which is 24 episodes long, is about the typical lives of high school girls (so this anime is similar to Azumanga Daioh in terms of plot).

The anime is good and had lots of funny moments. In the beginning though, the episodes seems to be longer than what it should be due to the fact that the characters are talking about various subjects for several minutes in one scene; however, it picks up the pace later on in the series.

The opening theme, "Motteke! Sailor Fuku" is really good; in fact, it's currently my favorite song, which I'm listening to while writing up this post The anime doesn't really have an ending theme. For about the first half of the anime, the ending shows a karaoke place with the four main characters singing various songs. The other half consisted of Minoru Shiraishi singing various songs and doing various odd things.

I give this anime a rating of 5/5.

Zombie Loan is 11 episodes long, and is about these two zombies who are, ironically enough, hunting zombies to pay off their debt of an "extended living".

This anime was good. It had a nice balance of action and comedic relief throughout this short anime. Some expect a second season since there's a bit of a surprise at the end. I certainly hope there would be a second season.

The opening theme for Zombie Loan, "OOKAMI no NODO" wasn't really that great. The style of singing didn't appeal to me. The ending theme, "Chain Ring" was better.

I give this anime a rating of 5/5 as well.

I recommend both of these animes for watching. So, watch them and enjoy ^_^

That will be left for later while I focus on the next big section which are profiles of Gundams.
